    Presentation Description:

NEW federal legislation was passed in Dec. 2022 affording greater protections to pregnant and breastfeeding employees. This session will cover what you need to know about the new federal Pregnant Workers Fairness Act and the PUMP for Nursing Mothers Act. Leave this session with practical implementation solutions based on years of field experience helping employers accommodate breastfeeding and pregnant workers.

Here are the three learning objectives for my session:

    1. Understand the key components of the new federal Pregnant Workers Fairness Act and the PUMP for Nursing Mothers Act.
    2. Leave with at least three (3) practical implementation strategies for each of the new laws.
    3. Communicate the benefits to businesses of complying with the new laws.
