    Anita Buchanan is an HR Advisor with Bandura Plus. Anita brings extensive experience in human resources and management development. She is skilled at turning around struggling HR functions, streamlining processes and increasing efficiency. Anita provides managers with the training and skills they need to effectively manage today’s demanding work force.

    Anita has more than 30 years of professional experience in communications and human resources. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications and a Master’s in Business Administration from Baker University. She holds the certification of Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR).

    Anita has a heart for community service and has served as the board president for the Arc of Sedgwick County, an organization that provides services to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. She is currently on the board for Raise My Head Foundation, an organization that serves women who are victims of sexual trafficking. She believes in living out her Christian values and serving others in a way so they can see Christ at work in the world.

    • In the first component, respect is understood as seeing employees as individuals, whereby their views, feelings and behaviours are accepted and appreciated.

    • Collaboration represents a working together with employees, cooperating with them and adapting to their needs.

    • Limitation refers to setting boundaries in a healthy way. In compassionate discipline employee's personal development and independence is key with appropriate limits and boundaries set to ensure their safety (Wasserman, 2016).
