    Presentation: 

    This program will update HR professionals on the key legal and legislative changes that have occurred in 2021, are proposed for 2022, and what to expect in the second year of the Biden administration. Key court cases will also be addressed as well as new compliance obligations under the FMLA, FLSA, NLRA, OSHA, and other key statutes. Attendees can utilize this program to address policies and practices that must be updated as well as develop proactive employee relations strategies.

    About the Speaker: 

    Timothy Davis, partner of Constangy Brooks, Smith & Prophete LLP and office head of the firm's Kansas City office, advises clients on various and all aspects of the employer and employee relationships. Some of the issues he has dealt with are complex termination scenarios, developing non-discriminatory policies, and developing FMLA and ADA policies. Tim has given numerous training seminars and speeches on topics such as employment law issues.
