The second Legislative Dialogue of 2020 is coming this weekend, but it won't be held at its original location.
The dialogue will take place Saturday at the Lyon County History Center's third floor beginning at 8:30 am, with a light breakfast served at 8 am. Initially, the event was slated for Presbyterian Manor.
Senate Vice President Jeff Longbine, 60th District Representative Mark Schreiber, 76th District representative Eric Smith and 51st District Representative Ron Highland have all been invited.
The dialogue is a joint event by the Emporia Chamber of Commerce's Government Matters Committee and The League of Women Voters. Residents are encouraged to attend and ask questions. Folks attending are encouraged to enter the History Center from the parking lot entrance behind the facility and use the elevator to get to the third floor.
