Employee Engagement:
Research has shown that employee engagement is linked to increases in productivity, organizational committment, employee moral, and overall job satisfaction. Join Marc Colcord as he helps us understand exactly what employee engagement is, and how we can incorporate it into our orgainzational strategy to achieve the benefits listed above.
About the Speaker:
After earning a degree in communications, Marc Colcord, spent 30 years in telecommunications. He started out pulling cable and finished in management. He has worked for small startups, and then spent 21 years with two of the largest companies in the world, IBM and Siemens. Technology has changed and when telecom was no longer an option, he worked in sales, managed an historic theater, and then in 2017, he founded Speak Easy ICT. Speak Easy ICT helps business people improve verbal business skills.
One common thread through Marc’s career is Marc loves interacting with people, and he loves helping them solve problems, watch them grow, and achieve their goals. Marc has coached winners of pitch competitions, startup founders, & hundreds of presenters through his role as the presentation coach at 1 Million Cups Wichita and as the presentation coach for Wichitalks in 2018. He is also a certified DISC practitioner.
In addition to his volunteer work at 1 Million Cups/Wichita, Marc coach’s youth basketball and volunteers at both the Wichita Open & Wichita Riverfest.
