Emporia may not be the official birthplace of disc golf, but it's safe to say Emporia has become the home of disc golf:
- Emporia's Glass Blown Open is the largest disc golf tournament in the world (1,700 competitors).
- The Junior World Championships were hosted in Emporia in 2018 and 2019. The 2020 championships will also be in Emporia.
- Emporia is home to two world champions (Eric McCabe, 2010; and Paige Bjerkaas, 2018), and a Junior World Champion (Isaiah Esquivel, 2018).
For our September HRPAGE Social we have staff from Dynamic Discs coming to teach us tips and tricks on Thurs. Sept 26. from 6-8pm. You don't want to miss this!
