Diversity & Inclusion

    The D&I committee focuses on providing information and guidance to HRPAGE members on diversity and inclusion issues and initiatives in our local communities, businesses, educational institutions and government.  They may assist in ongoing and upcoming initiatives and events that support the goal of enhancing the environment for diversity, inclusion and equity in our Chapter and across our region/State.  They act as a resource for others interested in promoting D&I in their employment and community.  Time commitment is your discretion, but should plan on two hours per month.

    Goals for 2021

    Assist with securing D&I speaker for either chapter meeting or EABC.  Explore needs of Hispanic workers in Emporia and report to Board/membership on findings. Provide at least one social media post per quarter on D&I.
